Abby Lintern became our Pastor in September 2018. She was a student at Bristol Baptist College and served us here whilst finishing her studies for Baptist Ministerial Accreditation. She is now a Newly Accredited Minister (NAM).As part of her ministry here she is also Wadham School’s Chaplain. Abby is married to Darren and is Mum to two teenagers.

John Stuffins has been a CMBC leader for about 20 years and is now the Church Secretary and Treasurer. He is assisted in the role of Church Secretary by Caroline Reeves (see below). John was a leader at Misterton Baptist Chapel when the Crewkerne and Misterton churches amalgamated in 2001. He led the children’s and young people’s work for over 40 years until the Misterton Chapel closed at the end of 2016. He was re-elected to the Leadership Team for a further period of three years in May 2019.

Alan Reeves came to live in the district in 2015 and he and his wife, Caroline, have been church members for over 5 years. He has been a member of the Leadership Team since May 2017. Alan is the church’s Designated Safeguarding Person with responsibilities relating to the care of children, young people and vulnerable adults. He is one of the church’s CAP Money Course leaders (course designed by Christians Against Poverty). Alan is a lay preacher and worship leader and he also leads our Bible Study and Prayer group, known as Wayfarers.
Simon Green re-joined the Leadership Team in October 2020. He has attended the church (firstly at Misterton Chapel) since before he started school (!) and was baptised at Crewkerne and became a church member at Easter 2009. He and his wife Becca are parents of a toddler and a new born baby.
Gina Bagwell came to Crewkerne from the Philippines when she married her husband, Max. She has been worshipping at CMBC for about four years and became a church member in January 2019. Gina was a school teacher before she moved to the UK and has worked locally in the care profession and she also worked in one of the Crewkerne Hydraulics Engineering companies until recently. She currently runs an online digital business and is a local carer.
Caroline Reeves is married to Alan (see above) and, while she is not a member of the Leadership Team, she fills a very important role as Assistant Church Secretary. She supports John Stuffins in his role and carries out many of the responsibilities that normally fall to the Church Secretary. Caroline is the church administrator at Yeovil Baptist Church, where she works on a part time basis. Along with her husband Alan, she hosts our Wayfarers Bible Study Group.
